We are happy to do a credit check and set your company up with open terms after three orders have been completed.  Our terms are 1/10/30.  Accounts that become delinquent are subject to being placed on shipping hold.

Return Policy

  • All returns must be pre-authorized by contacting us for a Return Materials Authorization number(RMA#).

  • The returned shipment must be accompanied with our RMA# and copies of all of the paperwork that shipped with the parts.

  • All returns are subject to inspection before credit is issued.

  • Fastenair will pay for ground shipments back to our facility for rejected parts and also cover the shipment of replacement parts back to the customer.

  • Rejections need to be reported within 30 days of receiving parts.

  • All returns/cancellations may be subject to a 15% or more restocking fee unless prior authorization has been given.

  • Fastenair's sole warranty is against any parts proven to be nonconforming to print requirements.  Our liabilibity is limited to credit and/or replacement of parts purchased and freight charges only.  We will not accept returns on any parts that have been modified, compromised by installment error, misuse, abuse, corrosion or rust, normal wear, or use in an application for which the part was not designed.

Export information

  • Per United States export regulations, Fastenair's goods may require EAR or ITAR licensing, should they be exported.  Such requirements are the responsibility of the USPPI/FPPI; Fastenair is neither of these parties.

  • Fastenair does not export.  In order for us to ship you our product, you must have a facility or work with an exporting distributor within the United States.

  • Fastenair does not provide classification for any of their parts.

  • Some items manufactured by Fastenair may have surface coatings that are not in compliance with RoHS and/or REACH EU regulations.  Fastenair is not responsible for determining their compliance, this is the responsibility of the customer.

Certification Packets

  • All bushings ship with a full certification packet.  This packet will include our Certificate of Conformance, raw material certification sheet, and all required processing and non-destructive testings certifications.

  • First Article Inspection Reports are not included with our shipments.  First Article Inspection Reports can be ordered on most of our bushings for a fee, but we must be informed of the FAI requirement at the time of the quote.

  • Extra copies of certification packets are available upon request, but are subject to a fee.

  • The raw materials used in the manufacturing of our parts are in compliance with the Conflict Minerals reporting requirements, EU REACH Regulations, and are DFAR compliant.  All parts are manufactured free from mercury contamination.

 

Supplier Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of Purchase Orders from Fastenair confirms an agreement to the following:

1)    All materials/processes that you furnish conform to instructions and/or conditions stipulated herein. If Supplier cannot meet materials, processes, instructions, or conditions, Fastenair Corp must be notified ASAP for evaluation of changes.

2)    Items furnished are subject to inspection and recount by Fastenair. 

3)    The information on this order is acceptable and is correct. 

4)    Our Company’s representative or customer shall have the right to verify, at your premises, the conformance to this document’s requirements. 

5)    All process and conformance records regarding product/service/process must be maintained at your facility for a period of 7 years, and dispose proprietary and sensitive records in a manner that protects them.

6)    No work shall be subcontracted out without prior authorization by Fastenair.

7)    Work all processes to latest revisions. Notify Fastenair Corp of any changes to processes or revisions ASAP for review and approval.

8)     A Certificate of Conformance noting the PO #, part number, part revision level, lot number, quantity, for processes/materials, with   specifications indicated (i.e., AMS, ASTM, MIL, etc.), is required with shipment.  MSDS sheets are required to be provided if applicable.

9)    Supplier shall contact Fastenair Corp. in the event of any nonconforming product/material discovered for disposition instructions and evaluation.

10)  Our Company’s representative, customer or regulatory authorities shall have right of access to applicable areas of your facility, at any level, involved in production of product and all applicable records.

11)   Mercury free processing required.

12)   Compliance to RoHS and REACH EU Regulations & Conflict Minerals      Reporting is required, if applicable.

13)   Maintain documented control for AAM (acceptance authority media).

14)   Compliance to NIST SP800-171 if applicable. 

15)   Supplier agrees to all applicable regulations including, but not limited to DFAR, ITAR, NADCAP, OSHA, DLA, DCMA, etc.

16)   Fastenair Corp. reserves the right to cancel a PO without penalty if  Supplier is unable to meet defined requirements.

17)   Acceptance of PO’s is a binding contract.

18)   Supplier agrees to maintain a compliant industry accepted Quality System. Any changes to the Quality System, including but not limited to, industry approvals, certifications, approved suppliers, processes, manufacturing/process locations, etc., must be conveyed to Fastenair Corp. ASAP for evaluation and approval.

19)   Fastenair Corp. monitors and measures Supplier’s on time delivery and quality performance to ensure continued approval. Failure to meet desired levels can result in a Corrective Action and reevaluation.

 20)  Supplier adheres to requirements of counterfeit parts/materials prevention using acceptable industry standard protocols (i.e., AS9100, PRI CAAP, AS5553, AS6174, AS6081, etc.).  Supplier agrees to notify Fastenair Corp. ASAP of any counterfeit parts/materials/processes discovered.

21)  Supplier agrees to maintain an employee awareness program to ensure that all employees are aware of, trained, competent and qualified on the Quality System, safe work practices, product safety, ethical behavior, FOD, nonconforming parts, counterfeit parts, work/processes they perform, etc.

22)  Supplier agrees to receive returned products/services for review if found to be nonconforming to Fastenair Corp. PO requirements.

23)  All special processes required by PO must be performed by trained and qualified personnel.  Both processes and personnel must be periodically validated and evaluated.  Those records must be available upon request.

24)   Supplier agrees to utilizing a statistically valid sampling inspection method such as ANSI Z1.4, or equivalent.  Any measuring equipment used for inspections must be calibrated and traceable to ISO 17025/NIST.

25)  Supplier must have an established FOD program, including employee awareness and training in place.

26)  Supplier shall package and ship goods to prevent damage to parts/materials.  Each package shall be clearly identified per information provided on PO.

27)  Supplier shall maintain commercial general liability & workman’s comp insurance.

28)  Supplier shall adhere to any Government contract priority requirements that may be specified on PO.

29)  Supplier agrees to flow down all information, instructions, etc., documented on PO to their suppliers, when applicable.
